5:00Pm - 6:00pm

Lecture

There are many aspects of software engineering that are abstract, niche and novel with respect to most folk’s everyday experience. It is paramount that students of computer science have a solid foundation in the fundamentals of design, language syntax, development tools and best practices. Students will be exposed to new topics and have an opportunity to ask their instructor questions during in-depth lectures on coding theory.

12:00Pm - 1:00pm

Break

This block of time gives students a lunch break to refuel and relax with their classmates. It’s a chance to process what they have just learned and prepare to switch contexts; from theory to implementation.

1:00pm - 5:00pm

Lab

Coding is a craft. One gets good at it by doing it repetitively and competitively. So, students are given assignments that reinforce the morning lecture and challenge their current skill level. And we match students in groups of two. Every Learnt Coding developer has a Smart Partner to bounce ideas off of. They are expected to author their projects as a team.
